The best time to have your maternity session is usually between 28-35 weeks. I've found that 32 weeks seems to be a sweet spot for most mamas. You want your belly to have a nice roundness to it and you want to still be comfortable. I suggest booking as soon as you decide that you would like maternity photos. Check your calendar, figure out when you will be about 32 weeks and give me a call so I can get you on my schedule!

Newborn sessions are best done between 4 and 14 days old. This is the time when they are still flexible and still spend most of their time sleeping. 

When you book, your session date will be marked as your due date. That gets you on my schedule and ensures I will have availability. Once baby arrives, you simply give me a call (or send a text or email) and we will schedule your session within the ideal 2 week window.

The studio is fully stocked with a variety of different background options, props and accessories. There is no need to bring anything, however, you are welcome to bring anything you would like and I will do my best to incorporate it.

While to focus of the session will be the bump, the babe or the birthday (depending which session type you book), I always encourage doing a few family photos as well. 

The personal viewing and ordering session is the most exciting part! This is when you come back to the studio to view your images and decide which are your favorites. We will go through your images together and I will guide you through ordering and will design any albums or wall art you desire.
